These are a few of my favorite things that I received from the Red Swap (see previous postings for more details).

So instead of doing the organizing work I need to do for my classes, I've been playing on the internet this morning. It's so much fun to see what everyone got in the last swap! If you're interested in doing the next one it will be in Shades of Red. Just click here and read about it.

Blue and Brown Swaparooni: Package Sent

So here's the package I sent to B and her family (layer by layer).


Here are the cookies (brown ;) and the wrapped gifts that were on the top layer.



Below are the wrapped gifts. You can see the cute little animal plates (the ears are perfect for kids sized sides or dipping. And you can see the blue and brown calendar at the very bottom.

Here's a look at all the loot that was sent to me! A beautiful blue folder. Three spools of ribbon, a toy for the baby. A bag of chocolates for my DH and THREE bags of chocolate for me. (I'm so spoiled). A package of M&M notecards. A loofah. A multi-colored ink pen (I've LOVED this during the first week of school). Some gorgeous earrings (close up to follow). And a blue gift bag. I loved all of it!!

Sign up by July 15th

If you're interested in the Swaparooni (read previous post) then you need to sign up by July 15th! The colors are brown and blue. You need to join Flickr and join the Color Me Happy Swaparooni group. Once you've joined the group, you need to post on the Sign Up page. I'm excited!!!

Swaparooni

Yesterday I found a group that swaps care packages every other month. It looks like so much fun! First they pick a color theme and the dates to sign up and send the packages. Then you get assigned a partner (who posts a list of likes and dislikes). You mail your partner a package (minimum spending limit before shipping is $15) and then you get one on your doorstep. The next assignment date will probably be July 15th and the colors will probably be light blue & brown. I'm excited :o)
